Croft No 2 Camp site in Hebrides

Located at the North point of the Isle of Barra in a well sheltered spot from most wind directions and access from the main road. Facilities include, Drinking water, Toilet waste point, Electric hook-up, refuse deposit. 50m from beach and access provided. Fantastic views. TV & most major mobile phone signals can be received around the site. A very quiet location with rare birds and plants close by. Sites are limited so booking is advisable.

Reviews of Croft No 2 Camp site

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this very friendly site on a beautiful part of the island. The cakes were an unexpected bonus on arrival. It was a real pleasure to stay here although I think we were specialy lucky with the weather. Electric hook-up, toilet disposal and fresh water gave us all that we needed. I would recommend this site to anyone going to Barra. The views from the top of the hill behind the site are well worth the walk. Pity about the insects though (flies not midges)

As you drive towards the north point there is a larger site just before croft no 2, which appeared very exposed to the strong winds we experienced during our visit. Croft 2 is 50m further on and 30m from the turning point at the end of the road. This site is considerably sheltered Chem waste unit
