Reviews of Woodland Gardens Caravan Site

We spent a fantastic peaceful break at this site in the early spring sunshine. The site is small, well maintained with plenty of early spring flowers on show. We had a hard standing with electric hook-up with a low season price of £17 pn. The campsite is apparently under new ownership and we spoke to some local seasonal pitch renters and they say there have been a few improvements with a new reception, upgraded recreation room, which is just like a lounge with big leather suite, 42" TV and plenty of books and games. There is a fridge and freezer which I'm sure Tenters will find invaluable.

There is a quality feel to everything on the site and there is a lot of nice touches in the toilet block. The new owners couldn't do enough for us and were very easy going. You could tell it is a new venture for them and they are very enthusiastic and eager to please. They said that it is an adult only site and they therefore will be treating the visitors as adults with not too many hard and fast rules.

The sky at night was amazing and the views over the Forth at any time were breathtaking. Lots of walks in the area and a 15 min walk down to the pub in Lower Largo. 20 min walk back up but if you get tired you just stop and look at the view.

This is a gem of a site and we will definately be back. I just hope posting reviews like this dosen't become self defeating and become full when we next want to visit.
