Reviews of Ring Farm

Great place to stay! Massive camping area which is well enclosed. Great wee park for the kids so you can just leave them to it. Fire pits sitter around the field (don't forget your bag of wood!). Toilet, shower and little basin for dishes in one of the farm building less than a minutes walk away. We'll definitely be back!

We absolutley loved our stay at Ring Farm! We went with our 4year old daughter who had a fantastic time playing on the climbing frame, slide, swings, small tree house, sandpit and lots of toys!
It was great to be able to open the tent in the morning and she could go play right away and you can see her all the time.
The toilet and shower in the barn were immaculate and much better than camping sites we stayed previous which we paid a lot more for.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and just leave you to it. It was great to have access to a kettle etc too.
We will be back without a doubt. It's really quiet and peaceful.. with sheep and cows just a small walk away and chickens and rabbits on the farm.

Thanks a lot to the owners it's a great wee place and we can't wait to come back.

It was lovely to have you all, your wee daughter was a delight and so pleased she could enjoy the freedom of the play area. Look forward to seeing you again????
Fantastic place.
A bit more than just wild camping.
A toilet and shower provided.
Camping is in a field with various climbing frames, swings, sand pit also.
Staff are fantastic and polite.
Designated fire pits which is ideal as there aren't a great deal of places that allow fires now.
Ive been here twice now and am going back on Saturday 9th June for my birthday with the wife and three kids, theres nowhere else I'd rather be.
This is a working farm so there are farm animals to go see.

Dear Paula, it was lovely to see you both again. Thank you for the lovely review and we will look forward to having you back with your grandson.
The children love the space, freedom and our swings and chutes, parents and grandparents can relax whilst keeping a watchful eye on the “Bairns”
We (5 adults and 4 kids between 4 and 8) spent a fantastic night on ring farm. The location is wonderful, feels remote but just 5 miles from all provisions. The site itself was just as described, a touch wild but with anything you need, toilets, showers etc. The ability to have open fires is a crucial thing that many sites no longer allow. Sitting until the were small hours around the campfire with almost zero light pollution was wonderful.
Moira and family were incredibly friendly and welcoming, giving peace but there for any queries. They even came along in the morning to give the kids a chance to feed the lambs.
Absolutely no criticism of this site, we will be back.

Response from Ring Farm
It was great to have you Gareth & Co, we just love seeing children, explore climb and get a taste of the countryside, good fresh air promotes sleep & a chance for adults to chill. Will be delighted to have you back, bring the good weather with you!
My family and 2 of my friends familys stayed here for 1 night as we had never camped before so wanted something local which allowed BBQs and camp fires and a big open space for the kids to run around.
It was perfect for us and wish we had stayed another night, it was windy but that didn't spoil our fun, there is a toilet and a shower to hand.
Moira and her family made us very welcome and was great with communication.
We will definetly be back.
