Small, friendly site with grass standing and beautiful views over the Forth. Access to town and shops is 1 mile and the beach is only 1.5 miles away.
The East Neuk with its famous fishing villages and even more golfcourses is within easy reach and St Andrews is only half an hour away.

Reviews of Bankhead Farm Camping Site

Great, simple, quiet, private, litte camp site. Smooth and slightly sloping grass so good for simple camping. Lovely views over Firth of Forth and Bass Rock, great sunset. No light pollution so great for star / shooting star gazing after dark. Lots of space so kids enjoyed playing football and watching the hoses.
Simple facilities of tap, bin, waste disposal and portaloo.
Lots to do in the area - good farm shop / restaurant and golf course nearby. Microlight landing area nearby so intersting watching them too. Elie and Fife coast lovely.
We would thoroughly recommend it (but not if you are after full facilities and a yellowcoat Hi De Hi crowd)

Ho Folks want a nice quiet located site then can recommend this one. Just outside Leven the site over looks the Firth of Forth. Met by Sue & Len really friendly couple & most welcoming. We stayed 2x nights and nice touch by hosts providing us with a taste of their home grown Strawberries, very nice they were. You have to be self sufficient on site as no shower, toilet block (as yet)
Well worth popping by. Nice grounds for evening stroll and feeding the 5 horses in the Paddocks. I am sure the Hosts would love campers and tourers alike. Can recommend this site and would return again. Best regards Heather & Bill
