King Robert The Bruces Cave in Dumfries & Galloway

This family run caravan site is set in the historic grounds of Cove Estate, also the site of an Ancient Monument - a unique cave, the refuge in the 14th Century of King Robert the Bruce.

This idyllic setting is now the home of a well kept caravan and camping site with modern amenities and in the grounds of an 80 acre estate that is wooded, secluded and peaceful. An abundance of wildlife exists and fishing is also available for guests.

Today, on Cove Estate in the south west of Scotland is a well laid out caravan site with all modern facilities including:

2 toilet blocks with toilets and hot showers

Toilet facilities for the disabled

Numerous freshwater amenities around the site

Chemical emptying points

Mains electric hook up

Children's play area with giant spiders web climbing frame

Scenic walks around the river and woods

3 miles of fishing on the River Kirtle for salmon & trout (in season)

Small Football Pitch

Outdoor Activity Centre with Quad bike racing, paintball etc., 1.6 miles away

The site office supplies essentials such as milk as well as sweets and souvenirs and is open from 9am to 9pm in the Summer Season.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome but must stay on leads.
