North Ledaig Caravan Club Site in Argyll

The booking system is not of the caravan club. This site does book specific pitches, which is really annoying when you arrive and are put on a pitch that you don't like. Pitches are left standing empty as someone has booked it and may even arrive after you have left. I joined the caravan club with the rule being that their sites are on the basis of "Specific pitches cannot be reserved" This is not so at North Ledaig. I felt that on arrival the staff tend to argue with you as to where they put you and to be quite honest after driving for hours the only thing you want to do is set up your caravan and have a cup of tea! It is so infuriating to see pitches standing empty while you are put on a pitch to their convenience. I will definitely not visit this site again.
