Nether Craig Caravan Park is situated in a quiet spacious location surrounded by farmland, near the Angus/Perthshire border in Scotland, in the heart of unspoilt countryside to the north-east of Blairgowrie, between the lowland fruit-growing region of Strathmore and the Angus glens.
Well away from major roads and enjoying picturesque views of the hills, it makes an ideal base for touring, hill-walking, bird-watching, fishing, pony-trekking and golf.
Whatever your interest, Nether Craig is an ideal base. Touring by car or bicycle could not be easier, with miles of open road. Ruined abbeys, castles, Pictish relics and stately homes provide material for history lovers.
A vast range of tourist information is available, with maps to borrow for walking and books to read at reception.
Fishermen can choose from loch or river, and the hill walker will always find another hill to climb and view to admire.
For bird-watchers, the local area and RSPB reserve offer a variety of species and habitat.
Golfers can choose from sporting nine hole courses to championship links.
The local trekking and riding centres cater for all levels of experience.
Bicycle hire is available.
Take a circular woodland walk from the park to the den of the River Isla with river viewpoint, picnic area, pond and tree plantation.
Family owned and run, Nether Craig welcomes caravans, motor homes and tents, and offers grass or hard standing pitches, hook-ups, a very well appointed toilet block, disabled facilities, laundry, shop and play area. Fresh rolls, milk and newspapers are delivered daily and gas is sold.
