A level 1.2 acres site set in open countryside with lovely views. we have well appointed toilet facilities with two unisex cublicles and one suitable for people with disabilities.
There is a small shop on site which stocks basic essentials and gifts, a tea room and a Mining Museum which are both open to the general public.
we welcome family groups and couples and dogs are allows if kept on a lead. This a small friendly site set in the countryside but close to amenities as we say "miles from anywhere but close to everywhere". We look forward to seeing you soon!

Reviews of Smithson Farm Camping & Caravan Park

We have just spent the most relaxing few days at the site. Excellently situated and convenient for a variety of pursuits. The views are quite spectacular, the facilities first class and the pitches well proportioned giving ample space to enjoy the surroundings in peace and quiet. the owner is very friendly and like to talk, they have nice private mining museum. also a small shop for customers, you can buy free range eggs and home made jams etc. my children like this place very much. we will come back to visit again. easy access to town. We spent a very pleasant weekend at Smithson Farm campsite in May.

There was 2 tents in our party. My husband & I with our little dog in one tent & friends with 3 children in a large tent.

The site was easy to find & is very near to Pendle Hill which is lovely for walks & Burnley is close by also.

We had a warm welcome from the site owners who were extremely helpful & friendly & live in the farmhouse next to the site.

We all had plenty of space to sit out & to explore & the kids loved playing out & discovering the animals that were near by. There is a shop on the site & we treated ourselves to some yummy jam & honey that was produced on the farm which was nice to bring home as a little reminder of our break, there was various other items for sale that might be useful for a stay including free range eggs.

The toilets are clean & well kept as is the rest of the site which we all agreed was good value for money.

We had a great, memorable time & will certainly return!
