Well I have to say if we had read some of the reviews we wouldn't have booked to stay at this wonderful site and we would have missed out on a BRILLIANT TIME, the staff were welcoming the site was fantastic, the people who are residents on the site were so friendly it made our stay. There was plenty to do and the main thing was for us that it was relaxing! The site was spotless the amenieties were spotless and the site was suitable for young and old alike, a lovely play area, pond and the clubhouse brill. The restaurant was second to none and fantastic food at a really good price. The stay was so good I did't want to come home and we will be back to stay again and again and we live in the North of Scotland so it has to be good to make us travel. Thank you so much to everyone there for an amazing time!

Right where do i start.
The campsite on first impressions was rather shocking.Reception could have been better marked out when entering the site so that you don't go round in circle unnecessarily. Our welcoming was not so bad but when our power tripped the guy that reset it was rather rude by saying that we were running the wrong equipment when we only had a proper camping kettle on.
The campsite was in my opinion the dirtiest site i have ever been on in 15 years. This is the only site that has disabled access to its toilets where you have to climb steps to get to them(rather pathetic dont you think. The clubhouse had a games room but the machines were not even on.
The pitches were not marked out in any way and for anyone with kids the danger was the un-fenced pond area next to the childrens play area.
Personally i run a business myself and cannot understand how someone can run a campsite in this run down condition. Was not worth the money and also friend we know stopped in the ranch which even the door had a hole in and the bottom did not shut properly.
I suppose if this site did not have the clubhouse with the amount of coachloads coming in for the events going on there this site would be shut because generally campers would not entertain it.

We booked this site months ago as a one night stop over on our travels because the pictures from the website made this site look quite appealing and the prices were reasonable. When we arrived it would appear that the website gave a completely false impression and these pictures are way out of date. The site was run down and in need of a renovation. There was nobody at reception and we were directed to the club house which gave the most unwelcoming atmosphere we could have possibly imagined as it was dark and smelt of smoke. There was a guy at the bar smoking a pipe and others smoking cigarettes. The woman at the bar did not appear to know what she was doing and had to phone the person who should have been on the reception. It appeared to be disorganised and unfriendly and we both felt very uncomfortable at that point. The actual campsite looked looked a travellers campsite and it was very waterlogged. We did not even get the tent out of the car and chose to go else where for the night despite having paid for this site in advanced as we were afraid that we would not have 4 wheels on the car in the morning. We will not be returning here and would definitely not recommend this to anyone. It is a pity we have to rate this site because we would not even give it one star. We did not bother to ask for a refund. Very very disappointing considering what the website showed.

I have camped here several times with a small group og teenage girls, we found the site very clean & the people very friendly, the girls did enjoy the stay loved walking to see the horses in the paddock, Its been a while since i was there the new toilet block was just opening when we were there last but we had a great time & hope to go back soon with a caravan this time; & maybe the tent x

Only one dish sink available despite main camping area full and adjacent field also full. Toilets were some distance away from overspill field and toilet roll replenishment was sparse given the amount of campers. No concession for entry into nightclub. If campers are spending money on site, food etc I am of the opinion of cheaper rates to night entrance than those who turn up only for dancing.

We are hoping to build another toilet block soon, with a dish sink in a room on the end.Campers tend to take away the toilet rolls so they don't run short later. A sign has been but in the toilets, so if campers do run short of toilet rolls they know where to get some more. Campers in tents can get a special wrist band to admit them to club house. They just have to mention this on booking.
A potentially pleasant weekend spoilt by a number of basic atrocities...

- electricity going on and off a dozen times each night of out 4 night stay

- absolutely filty mens/womens toilets with excretement smeared across four bowls and two locks missing

- gravel and stones about two centimeters under the grass making it v. difficult to peg tents

- the cast of THE JEREMY KYLE SHOW drinking, laughing, swearing & verbaly threatening their girlfriends all day Sunday.

Mind you, the steak was nice.

Electric supply is 6amps, so if you use house kettles, heaters and irons it will blow, however we are now putting each camper on separate fuses so if you blow it,its you thats over loading the supply. If you use the correct camping equipment it won't. New toilets have opened, they are regularly cleaned and bleached, but unfortunately they are only as clean as the person that used them just before you. We have now introduced a field where we invite younger campers to set up away from families. The steaks are still really good, Thanks.
