Reviews of Charity Farm Caravan And Camping Park

Really nice place, toilets clean, fishing available for a fee.
A few let downs for us,cafe only open Fri evening Sat n sun, despite saying on notice open at noon all week, so wasted time going down and ended up going off site for food.
Shower 50p each, only takes 50pence piece also has code, info in leaflet but maybe could have been on notice or displayed more clearly, no 50p no shower! this caused confusion. Not allowed to use own fire pit or fuel, have to use theirs at £20.00 a time. Charged extra for awning n dogs. All dogs to be on leash at all times but owners dog roaming around and kept coming to our caravan cos we had dogs.
Think this site has lots of potential but also think there is some penny pinching going on. Don't feel that they do enough for the customer. Was looking for a site to keep the caravan on, Hooked up but not for £250.00 a month.
Don't know whether or not I would go back, the penny pinching and overpricing of gas bottles etc put me off.

Started our camping holidays here recommended by a friend. Great campsite very clean and amenities cleaned daily. So far been through 3 tents only because we had to upgrade and buy bigger because kids also love it here. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

Really nice site.Loved the early morning 'chorus' of birds singing. We had ducks around our tent.Nice lake, but a pity that the people using it couldn't take their rubbish away with them.Good, clean facilities.
