Low Greenside Farm in Cumbria

Small, friendly farm campsite near Ravenstonedale, at the foot of the Howgill Fells.
Fabulous views of unspoiled countryside in every direction.
Great access to the Lake District, theYorkshire Dales, aand the lovely Eden Valley.
This is "CAMPING AS IT USED TO BE!" so expect exceptionally spacious pitches set around the edges of a large field and a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
Fire pits are provided on each pitch free of charge. Good dry logs are always for sale with free kindling. Pack your marshmallows & prepare to relax in peace and quiet! The dark night skies are wonderful for stargazing from your campfire.
For glampers, in a separate field there is a Yurt for couples or families and a Bell Tent for couples. Each has its own kitchen, compost loo, and garden with campfire/BBQ, picnic table, seating, and lovely double hammock.
There are 2 friendly pubs in the village, a pretty 10 minute walk from your tent. Both have riverside gardens and serve excellent food & real ales.
Varied and beautiful hill or valley walks from your tent door take you through lovely countryside, including direct access onto the Howgill Fells for long walks with only sheep and ponies to keep you company! Tents -
£10 per person/nt (£4 for children). 1 car included per 4 people (extra cars £3/nt).
Campervans –
£20 per night for campervan and 2 people. EHU is extra.
