Reviews of Springhill Farm Caravan/Camping Site & Wigwams

I've stayed at Springhill many times and always found it to be an excellent campsite with great and clean facilities.

The location is second to none - with views of the sea, the farne islands and Bamburgh castle.

Having made a very polite and friendly enquiry about booking a pitch I was met with the most unhelpful and terse response I have ever encountered from any campsite. The attitude was clearly that campers are something to be 'put up with' rather than the golden nectar of their business. Perhaps they are simply too busy and don't need the custom. It looked like a nice place but I don't go on vacation to be made to feel unwelcome and will be camping elsewhere.

I've stayed here twice with my young family over the last two years...the holiday has been amazing both times. Our pitch was great & the facilities block had everything we needed and was always clean & tidy. It was very peaceful and we felt happy that the children could run around and play safely. They enjoyed spending time in the playground. The nearby beaches were clean, sandy and beautiful & we spent many hours there - and FREE parking on the roadside. I would highly recommend Springhill Farm.

Arrived late in the day to find pitch next to play area,Asked to be moved but were informed this was not possible.Found owners to be very unhelpfull and abrupt.Would not give refund when we decided to leave rather than take the pitch.nearly ruined the weekend but fotunately found a much better site near Bamburgh could not do enough to help us out. They turned a disaster into a really enjoyable weekend. the name of the site was the warren.Would not recommend sprinhill at all.
