Wing Hall's camping and caravan site occupies spacious fields within the grounds of the Hall. The site has stunning views across the Rutland countryside, is just over a mile to Rutland Water and offers takes pride in offering guests good, basic, facilities.main field, tents and vans
Intended to blend in with the character of the house rather than overwhelm it, development of the campsite is focused at providing facilities in a rural environment where the views and peaceful atmosphere are central points.
Unfortunately, we do not accommodate groups of young people - to preserve the tranquillity of the site. Other groups by prior arrangement.
Facilities on-site include 18 toilets, 12 showers, 6 washing-up units and a extensive deli/farm shop, offering everything you could need for the trip. Our cafe bar is open on Friday, Saturday's and Sunday's from April 1st until October 31st, serving great breakfasts, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
From years of experience, we know that different people want different things from a campsite. We have tried to keep our site basic, offering good quality facilities (the majority of them new), in an un-spoilt, relaxed environment.
We are fortunate to have dozens of guests who return throughout each year as they find Wing relatively undeveloped, friendly and accommodating. If you'd like to leave a comment on the site, or have any suggestions, you can do this here. Our 2010 AA Review is also featured on this page.
However, for those who don't want to camp, our holiday cottages are a good option!
Please note that last check-in is 21:00.
