Smeatons Lakes Touring Park in Nottinghamshire

Situated just outside the historic market town of Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire, Smeaton's Lakes is the ideal place for your fishing and touring needs.

Opened in 1996, this family run business has gone from strength to strength. Set in 90 acres, the site is open all year round, with the security and service that CCTV and a resident warden provide.

Located on the A616, just off the A1 at North Muskham, Smeaton's Lakes is approximately 1 mile away from Newark-on-Trent, with its Civil War connection, and close to Nottingham, Lincoln and Southwell. In fact, there is a Civil War earthwork on the site. With Sherwood Forest and the 'Major Oak' being less than half an hour away, the whole area is steeped in history and legends.

The International Antique Fairs are held at Swinderby, approximately 8 miles away and Newark Showground every couple of months.
