Proctors Park in Leicestershire

A large site in the Soar valley, next to the river with plenty of space for camping and touring caravans as well as holiday statics, boat moorings and fishing. Very basic facilities, but plenty of space to relax and enjoy the Leicestershire countryside.

From the entrance of the site it is a short (3-4 minute) walk to the centre of Barrow which has a selection of shops, pubs, takeways, a super market and a library.

Touring or camping pitches with electric hookups are provided near to the entrance with easy access to the village of Barrow upon Soar. For the more hardy there is the opportunity to set up in the fields away from the services, but amongst the wildlife.

Reviews of Proctors Park

Fantastic location but very run down site, lots of old abandoned caravans, dog mess everywhere. Toilets are vile, no hot water, soap or toilet roll.

The site could be amazing if the owners invested.

A large country park, with a canal, river and lakes.
Very child and dog friendly. Lots of wildlife on site.

A fantastic location but let down by the very basic 1960's facilities. Plenty of room for the kids to play and roam about.Everything you need in the Village. No rides and slides etc on site, just friendly helpful folk enjoying a good old fashioned site. We will return and use our own facilities!!
