For a carefree holiday, where conservation goes hand in hand with mainstream agriculture, look no further than Brook Meadow - a secluded lakeside retreat on the 400 acre farm of Jasper and Mary Hart at Sibbertoft, near the Leicestershire town of Market Harborough.

Brook Meadow offers self-catering Norwegian Spruce holiday chalets, caravans and camping facilities beside a carp-filled lake. The self-catering chalets are open throughout the year and are ideal for anyone seeking a holiday in peaceful surroundings, yet within easy reach of historic centres such as Northampton, Warwick. Coventry, Nottingham and Leicester, and the growing market towns of Market Harborough, Kettering and Rugby.

Brook Meadow is a working farm, set amidst good walking country, its own superb lake fishing facilities and a discreetly placed Outdoor Activity Centre. Nearby activities include gliding, golf and narrow boating. Brook Meadow's secluded location means that your own transport is essential, and there is ample car parking adjacent to the chalets. The nearest shops and Post Office are 2 miles away in the villages of Husbands Bosworth and Welford.

Pets are most welcome, for a small charge.

Reviews of Brook Meadow Lakeside Holidays

Absolutely fantastic site with top class shower block and toilets which are kept immaculately clean. Really friendly staff who are both helpful and courteous. Price for a pitch, including electric hook up is very good at just £17 per night. Peace, tranquility, along with being able to have a campfire makes this site a must visit. And the fishing is outstanding. Will be returning again, hopefully next month.

Lovely campsite with fishing lake, and on site new showers, toilets and washing up facilities. Warden come round at 10pm to ensure noise levels are kept down, which is definitely a good thing. Only gripe I had was that despite the toilets block obviously being new, It wasn't very clean over the weekend I stayed, with one of the toilets blocked and overflowing sewage onto the floors. This was like it for the 2 days I was there.

This is the best and the most friendliest site I have stayed at for years. The owners are very helpful and you can have a nice log fire in the evenings, which is one of the things that makes camping fun! Please don't change that rule, like many sites have and I won't be going back to them those! Well done
