Reviews of Birchwood Farm Caravan Park

after spending a few nights in the peak district in the hope valley we decided to camp for one night near matlock.we arrived at the site the staff were friendly and helpful and told us to pitch in the large slightly sloping field where ever we wanted to,so we chose our spot, the field was big and was surrounded by either trees or hedges, the grass was well maintained and not boggy at all. There was a nice safe play area for the kids and alot of space for them to play.the toilets were well maintained and the showers were too.matlock was a short drive away.the site was lovely and quiet apart from the screechy owl that that made a visit at 2 am which made us laugh.overall a nice site, well maintained grass, showers, toilets and roadways.added bonus was being able to have a bbq for those wonderful derbyshire sausage we purchased in cromford.
