Tangham Camp Site in Suffolk

Forest Camping, Tangham Campsite is a spacious, level and well drained caravan & campsite of 2.8 hectares set in the heart of Forestry Commission forest, next to the Rendlesham Forest Centre.
The forest is fully open for walking and cycling (including marked trails) and you may see fallow deer, squirrels, rabbits and birds (including the Nightingale and Nightjar).

Reviews of Tangham Camp Site

Had a great stay, only £16 a night for the 2 of us and no extra charges for the electric. Wow factor shower block, refurbished this year!!! We brought our friends and their kids loved it. They have a caravan and we can still pitch together. Plenty of space to play and ride bikes. New play park over in the forest centre. Shop was well stocked and the weather was perfect for April!

stayed here on numerous occasions before, but amazed that so may dog owners do not keep their dogs on a short lead AT ALL TIMES as per site rules.
my dog was so stressed out as the loose dogs would come over to see him - he is a rescue dog and has never been socialised with other dogs and just wanted to be aggressive towards them.
please, please keep your beloved dogs on a lead.

This used to be a great site, then they started to try and get too many people onsite, the field became a mud bath and the facilities couldn't keep up. showers and toilets were very outdated and clearly needed attention...I've visited this site over the last 8 years and will never be going back after our last visit. Not only was the field unusable but we had all our food stolen from the freezers. You used to get a really nice crowd at this park but but over the years it just turned sour, nobody wanted to talk to anybody else and was just a very negative atmosphere. Shame, would not recommend.
