Reviews of Hidden Meadows

Simply spectacular - an amazing place that's perfect for a group holiday or weekend away. Two beautiful safari tents with all mod cons, delightful hosts, a stunning setting, and a delicious cake as an extra welcome. Can't rate this highly enough.

Thank you for your kind words,we are glad you all had a relaxing time and look forward to welcome you all back soon
We had the most amazing time! If you want a peaceful outdoor countryside break then this is definitely the place to go.
The meadow around the safari tent is beautiful and picturesque with so much to explore.
The tent itself has everything you need and the hosts Lynne and Ian were extremely helpful throughout our stay but were unobtrusive whilst we were there. On arriving at the site they showed us how everything worked and answered any questions we had. Lynne baked a gorgeous cake which we enjoyed eating on the terrace in the sunshine.
The local area has plenty of restaurants and café's nearby but instead we chose to stay on site and cook on the BBQ and use the gas cooker which was available. We enjoyed eggs fresh from the chickens for breakfast each morning too!
Overall we had a fabulous time, the pictures do not do it any justice because it is so much better and exceeded all our expectations. We will definitely be returning soon!!

We had a fabulous weekend at Hidden Meadows! we were greeted by the owners Lynne and Ian who were super helpful, they showed us their beautiful tent and told us about the local area. The site is peaceful and pretty a brilliant place to get away from everything. The photos do not do the tent justice! My 7 yr old had a fantastic time, lighting campfires, collecting chicken eggs and gathering wood for the fire. We are already planning our return visit!

We look forward to welcoming you back soon
A fantastic glamping experience - so well equipped. The photos and the info are absolutely right - the safari tent is totally equipped and you do just need to turn up, put the kettle on the camp cooker and cut yourself a slice of the cake baked by Lynne, whilst you sit on the deck and take in your surroundings. Wellies are a necessity (the one thing we didn't bring!) for walking from the car to the meadow where your camping experience starts - not quite a short walk, but ok to carry your bags as you need only take clothes - the owners have thought of absolutely everything you may need and our most memorable night was the one where we lit a camp fire later in the evening after our BBQ dinner, and toasted marshmallows (also provided)!

The owners are very friendly, are very happy to oblige with requests, but unobtrusive whilst you are there. We had meat from the local butcher, bread from the bakers, and milk delivered to us, tea shops found and a table for dinner booked. We have already booked our return trip in the summer & aim to see more of the site and the surrounding area and fully partake of the exclusive camping experience. All facilities are second to none and the pictures do not do it justice.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again in July !
I happened to find Hidden Meadows on the internet when trying to book a very last minute weekend away...and what a find! My husband, my son (7) and myself all had a fabulous time. Lynne and Ian our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, the tent was extremely cosy and full of everything you could possibly need and more. My son loved being free to explore the site and enjoyed checking regularly on the chickens, he had a great time collecting firewood and couldn't wait to build and light the fire. The toilet and shower facilities were brilliant and not what I had expected at all. We had a great time and look forward to our next visit.

It was lovely meeting you all,we are glad you enjoyed your 'back to nature' experience and hope to see you soon
We had a great stay at Hidden Meadows. The facilities were very comfortable, everything was clean and we had everything we needed. The hosts were brilliant and were easily reachable, which was good peace of mind for us. The glamping tent was luxurious and even nicer than the online photos we looked at before. We would definitely go again - cannot recommend this place enough!
