Hickling Campsite is for the outdoor loving back to basics campers. Set in 3 acres of beautiful broadland countryside, we offer space, tranquility and beautiful open skies. We allow campfires in our braziers with wood from the campsite. Hickling Broad is just half a mile away making us the perfect base for exploring the broads. Boats and canoes can be hired for exploring the 125 miles of rivers that make up the Broads. We are also situated on Weavers Way making us a perfect stopping point for those tired feet on the 60 mile trek.
Hickling Broad is the largest of all the broads with 500 acres of open water. Without a doubt it is on of the most interesting wildlife havens in the country with birds such as the Marsh Harrier, Barn Owl, Bitterns and even Africa Cranes.
Within the mile we have two pubs - The Greyhound and Pleasure Boat Inn both serving fantastic food and a good range of ales. Stalham is 3 miles away and caters for all needs with a range of shops and food outlets.
But the best thing by far is the peace and relaxing aura of the area. Sit by the camp fire and gaze up at the stars...... How's the serenity?
