A pretty basic site with water amenities and a mobile shower unit, which I'm told isn't all that clean. Chemical waste disposal unit and a place to put your rubbish. Plenty of open fields for the children (and adults) to play. No-one disturbs you except for the occasional check by staff to ensure you've paid for your pitch. Occasionally, the site adjacent is let out to a religious organization but they don't disturb your enjoyment too much. BBQ's are allowed but you do have some selfish youngsters staying that tend to burn the grass because they can't be bothered to raise the BBQ off the ground. They also can be bothered to pick up their beer bottles either. Sadly, they are not banned from using the site. No rowdy parties though and there are a lot of families camp there with their tents. The roadways are used by the local driving schools on Sunday mornings but that's not too bad. You always get to watch a decent game of football from the Sunday league teams but the ball never comes anywhere near your Caravan. WYSIWYG type place and the cost is £10 per night for two people with and additional cost for motorbikes. It's very peaceful during the weekdays. Nice and local to us and we use Barleylands as our camping base. TV reception good in places. 3 Stars is a good recommendation.
