The Hebden Bridge Camping Company is open for business and working with the New Delight Inn to provide a campsite suited to all happy campers.

Our cosy campsite is in Blackshaw Head set on the tops above Hebden Bridge next to the Pennine Way.

Here you can have a holiday that suits you; from the peace and tranquillity of the country side to the adventure and excitement of the activities available. Whatever you choose at the end of the day you can put your feet up, light a fire and sup a cheeky pint from the bar.

We have so much to offer in an area that is so beautiful that we can’t wait to show you.

Here are but a few:

* Explore the network of footpaths and bridle ways and discover the hidden mills of times past.
* Visit Brontë Country and bring the world of Emily, Charlotte and Anne to life.
* Go grave hunting in the derelict church yards to find Sylvia Plath and David Hartley, the famous “coiner.”
* The KWVR railway offers steam train journeys along the line where the Railway Children was filmed, with special events including The Real Ale Carriage & Fish & Chips Evenings.
* Potter around Hebden Bridge which is full of independent shops, art galleries and quirky folk.
* Harcastle Crags is a wooded valley managed by the National Trust and is also home to the Northern Hairy Wood Ant.
* Hire bikes from us and attempt Cragg Vale which is the longest continuous accent in England, or tear through the tracks in the valley’s on mountain bikes or just tootle along the Rochdale Canal towpath.
* Have a pint with Max and B at the New Delight Inn next door and enjoy their home cooked food.
