York Yurts in North Yorkshire

Welcome to York Yurts our aim is to provide a relaxing, laid back environment so you can escape from the pressures of everyday life and unwind completely. The yurts provide incredibly romantic accommodation enabling you to experience all the joys of camping without comprising on home comforts.

The Yurts are situated on our Farm which is less than Fifteen minutes drive from the centre of York so you can combine the historic sights and night life of York with the delights of sleeping under canvas in a tranquil "get away from it all" atmosphere. Our yurts are situated in three acres of grass land fringed on one side by mature woodland and to the other acres of farmland. Although we can not promise that you will see them all, we are home to deer, Pheasant, dozens of species of birds, ducks and rabbits.

We have three beautiful cosy and romantic Yurts each individually furnished to a very high standard all have wood burning stoves enabling all year round use. Each yurt has its own fully equipped cooking tent and fire pit/barbecue for those wanting to use their own culinary skills. Alternatively just 'arrive' bring your loved one, a good book, a couple of bottles of wine and we will do the rest. We can provide breakfast in bed, lazy lunches and candlelit dinners for those who want the ultimate relaxing experience.

We also have a communal heated marquee with chill out area, honesty bar & large dinning table where meals can be taken. We have a selection of board games, books, DVD's which can also be taken to your own yurt using our portable DVD players if you want to snuggle up and watch a movie alone.

In the field next to the marquee is an enclosed hot tub for you to relax in and a double ended roll-top bath and shower with a separate toilet.

There is a communal kitchen with cooker, fridge and washing up facilities.

All three yurts can be booked individually or if you have a large party you can take all three and have the whole farm to yourselves. Our aim is to give you a special break so please feel to ring and discuss any requirements you may have.
