Pinewood Holiday Park in North Yorkshire

Pinewood is a small, quiet family run site situated within walking distance of Scarborough town centre, yet surrounded by stunning open countryside of the Yorshire Wolds.
Set out over 7 acres Pinewood has 2 seperate areas.
An adult only caravan and camping site with 15 pitches
and
also 6 authentic American Indian Tipis.
The Tipis are perfect for families and coulpes and provide a fun, different and envirnomentally friendly holiday experience.
They are very spacious, and easily sleep a family of 4. They have raised wooden floors, and a wood burning stove, which makes them very cosy in winter, while the natural canvas keeps them cool in the summer.
Each tipi has it's own outdoor picnic bench, and watching the sun set on a night, while the kids are tucked up in their sleeping bags, is a magical, romantic experience.
We also have a traditional camp fire to toast your marshmallows on, while meeting other visitors and sharing your camping stories.
The tipis are sited near a small woodland area, and children can enjoy playing and exporing in the fresh air.
All you need to bring is a sleeping bag/bedding, a torch, toiletries/towels and any food and drink (although there's reastaurants, pubs, shops and all local amenities within 1.5 miles.
Pinewood is the perfect base for visiting all the many wonderful attractions which North Yorkshire has to offer.
