Small friendly site run on a working dairy farm. Very close to the Hole of Horcum beauty spot, ideal for walking. The site is open all year round. Our large pitches are lawned grass in the summer, suitable for larger tents.
Hardstanding pitches are available for all weathers, especially handy in wet / snowy weather in the winter for those walkers who brave winter stays with us.
Electric hook ups available on all pitches. 2 x Toilet / shower blocks with free hot water. Modern childrens play apparatus.
Ideal central location for visiting the many attractions of the North York Moors National Park and Yorkshire Coast. The village of Goathland where Heartbeat is filmed is less than 10 minutes drive away. Dalby forest 10 minutes drive away offers plentiful mountain bike routes and walking. The nearest town is Pickering on one side and Whitby on the other. Public house is 3 miles from the site.

Reviews of Marfit Head Farm

we really enjoyed our stay at marfit head farm, lovely clean toilets and showers.excellent pitch sizes, good idea having a dog walking area our dog bertie enjoyed sniffing in the wooded area!most peaceful site we have stayed on,only improvement i could suggest is that it could really do with a coin operated launderette,i have three children and we had six days away and relly missed my washing machine after couple of days!im sure it would go down well with the fellow campers, all in all though i would reccomend the site.hope to return next year!
