Lowfield Camping And Caravan Site in North Yorkshire

Lowfield Camping and Caravan Site is a pleasant camping site located in Staintondale which is between Whitby and Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Situated in a tranquil open countryside, this site is a perfect place from which to explore the scenic natural countryside and coastal resorts. It is within the North York Moors National Park and close to the Heritage Coastline. The site has spacious holiday homes, log houses and can host 5 caravans on a 6.6 acre field. It is open from February to December.

Facilities on this site comprise of electric hook ups, children’s playground, shop, washing up sinks, hot showers, toilet block and chemical disposal points. On this site you can enjoy horse riding, walkingalong miles of footpaths and bridleways and hunting made possible by Staintondale Hunt. Using a footpath that passes through mature woodland, you can access Hayburn Wyke waterfalls as well as the beach. There are numerous traditional villages you can go exploring. The coastal town of Scarborough is about 9 miles away and you will get a wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and resorts which offer lively entertainment. Whitby also has a wide range of amenities.
