Ladycross Plantation is an attractively sheltered and screened family run campsite located in Egton (Whitby), North Yorkshire. The site is situated within 30 acres of mature woodland 5 miles from Whitby coastal town and only 2 miles from Egton village. This award winning site is also in close proximity of the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire coastline which you can explore during your stay here. All its caravans are in open spaces between trees.
This campsite’s facilities include a shop, launderette, two modern sanitary blocks with under floor heating, shaving points, hair driers, calor gas, baby changing facilities, washing up areas, library, chemical disposal point and electric hook ups among others. There are numerous attractions at the nearby coastal town of Whitby such as its working harbor, Whitby Abbey, lovely sandy beaches stretching to Sandsend and old streets with historic buildings. Other attractions you could visit are The Captain Cook Memorial Museum in Grape Lane and the Museum in Pannet Park. From this park you can go boating on river Esk, sailing at Scaling Dam, golf, horse riding and cycling.
