An ideal base for a host of attractions
Set in outstanding parkland on the fringe of the historic South Shropshire town of Bridgnorth, Stanmore Hall Touring Caravan Park offers caravanners five star luxury all year around.
A prestigious affiliated site of The Caravan Club, the 12.5-acre park stands in the impressive lawned grounds of Stanmore Hall, a Grade Two listed building of historic interest. Caravanners enjoy luxury facilities and tranquil views across wooded parkland and a beautiful lake with its wide variety of wildlife.
Situated just 30 minutes from the centre of Birmingham and close to the Black Country, the award winning park is an ideal location from which to explore rural Shropshire and a host of local attractions, including the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Cadbury’s World, Cosford Air Musem and West Midland Safari Park.
The touring caravan park is also just a mile from the northern terminus of the famous Severn Valley Railway, which is hugely popular with steam enthusiasts. Bridgnorth is a must for visitors, dramatically built above and below a sandstone cliff face. A steep cable-operated cliff railway, one of the few of its type in the UK, links the two parts of the market town, known as High Town and Low Town.
Facilities at the park include a luxury reception and shop, 131 touring caravan pitches with water, electricity and digital TV connection, 30 all-weather super pitches, a fully equipped laundry, children’s play area and electrically operated security barriers.
