White House Caravan and Camping Park is a small family run campsite in the Heart of Wales. Sitting next to the river Wye, the site is in the market town of Builth Wells, and offers accommodation for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. The entire site is level and Builth Wells town centre is only 300 meters walk away. Facilities include a new shower and toilet block with facilties for disabled users, pitches with electric hook up points, and hot water for washing up. We also have some hard standing pitches available.
Builth Wells is a great place to base yourself on a trip to Mid Wales. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 25 minutes drive away, and the beautiful Elan Valley is even closer.
The town is host to the Royal Welsh Show each July, and the Showground is only a ten minute walk away. The site is very busy during the Show, so please bear this in mind when booking a holiday.
There is plenty to keep you busy in Builth including an 18-hole golf course, tennis and squash courts, a swimming pool, bowling and putting greens, and good bars and restaurants. There are plenty of opportunities nearby for fishing, bird watching, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and walking. Builth is also on the route of the Wye Valley Walk and L?n Las Cymru, the Welsh National Cycle Route. Although the are loads of outdoor activities to do in mid Wales, if you prefer relaxing then just take it easy and enjoy the countryside!
The Campsite is suitable for small events, and clubs and groups are welcome - just give us a ring to discuss what you require. The site is very busy on bank holiday weekends so please book in advance, especially if you would like a pitch with electricity as we only have a few available.
