A picturesque family run touring caravan and camping park situated on the peaceful Welsh / Shropshire border near to the market town of Welshpool.
The park is set in twelve acres of tranquility and natural beauty, incorporating woodland, farmland and a stream meandering along it?s boundary. It enjoys the protection of nearby hills and woodland but remains very accessible to the main road.
The site is of historical interest in the Arthur circuit. Two researchers claim to have identified King Arthur?s last battle on the Camlad River at Rhyd-y-groes.
The park is an ideal base for walkers wanting to explore recognised walks e.g. Offa?s Dyke (1/2 mile) and the Stiperstones, or to just enjoy the park?s surroundings.
The nearby woodland is ideal for the keen bird watcher and boasts a magnificent display of bluebells in the spring. It is stocked with a wide variety of native trees.
Dogs are welcome on the park on a short lead and there is a dog walk on site.
