Henllan Caravan Park in Powys

Henllan Caravan Park is situated in the heart of Mid Wales on meadowland adjoining the River Banwy and is approached by a lane(1/2 mile) off the A458 Welshpool Dolgellau Road, 6 miles west of Welshpool. The park is graded 3*** by Wales Tourist Board and has won numerous awards in the 'Wales in Bloom' competition. The park is open from 1st March to 31st December each year. FACILITIES: - The caravans are sited on concrete or hard standings; all units connected to mains water, electricity, sewage. Piped TV is also available. The roads are tarmac and there is adequate parking; street lamps provide lighting during darkness. There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The licensed bar is within walking distance and serves restaurant and bar meals with live entertainment most Saturday nights.

BOWLING GREEN - This is open to caravanners and locals alike.

FISHING - Residents can enjoy trout fishing in the river, part of which is adjacent to the site.

PITCH & PUTT - A nine-hole pitch and putt course.

CHILDREN - An additional children's play area has been constructed with modern equipment. There is a games room complete with TV, pool table and video machine etc.

TOURERS - Two small areas have been set aside for tourers, motor caravans and tents; some with hard standings, but all have electric hook-up.
