Snowdon View is a family owned and operated caravan park situated in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and enjoys magnificent views of Snowdon itself. Set in hilly wooded countryside, it offers visitors peace and tranquility in abundance.
Whatever your pleasure there is a holiday activity to suit. 500 yards away there is boating and fishing on the crystal clear waters of Lake Padarn. In the surrounding area the country is superb for walking and climbing. Visitors can take a trip on the Padarn Lakeside Railway or visit the old Slate Quarry with its original hospital.
The area is laced with salmon and trout rivers, for which a fishing permit may be purchased locally. A pony trekking centre can be found nearby.
If you wish to leave the peace and serenity of the area for the seaside bustle then the excellent coastal towns of Caernarfon and Bangor are only minutes away or the golden sandy beaches of Anglesey are within eight miles.
For our touring visitors we have secluded level fields with ample electrical hook-ups.
Facilities available include:
* Level concrete pitch
* Electric hook-up
* Room for awning
* Centrally heated shower block with free hot showers
* Gated security
* Launderette
* A nature trail dog walk
* Telephone
* Calor Gas available at reception
Our olde world country tavern offers a warm welcome and is the perfect place to relax over a cool drink outside in the summer or by our Inglenook fire in the cooler months.
If you would like a more active alternative you can enjoy a dip in our indoor heated swimming pool.
There is also a playground for the children with ample space for ball games.
