In 2001 we were awarded the David Bellamy Five Year Award for Conservation Excellence and in 2006 awarded the David Bellamy Ten Year Award for Conservation Excellence. Garth Holiday Park is one of only twelve in the UK to have maintained this impressive record since joining the scheme in 1997.

We are just half a mile from the ancient market town of Machynlleth, an ancient market town, which recently celebrated the 700th anniversary of its Charter.

The town boasts many shops from local crafts to leading supermarkets, historic buildings and a weekly street market held in the main street around the town's focal point, the Clock tower.

Adjacent to the clock tower is a recent addition to the town's facilities, a modern 2.5 million pound Sports and Leisure Centre, with Swimming, indoor bowls, squash courts, fitness suite and much more ? ideal for the occasional wet Welsh days!!
