At Luckford Wood we invite you to pitch your tent where you want [within designated areas]. We don't have rows of tents and caravans.
At Luckford Wood we offer our guests wash room facilities with free hot water for 12 showers and 12 washhand basins, we offer you basic toiletries, as well as free hot water for the washing up stations which are undercover and lit for your convenience.
The family park is fringed by woodland, sheltered with many secluded areas. It is with in easy reach the Jurassic Coast, beautiful sandy beaches, woodland and forest walks. Numerous recreational facilities are all waiting for you and are all within easy reach of the site.
Luckford Wood Caravan and Camping Park is hidden-away nestling between Heath Land to the North, Woodland and Forest, to the South, and within reach of the coast, which can be reached by walking across country from the Park or by road. - just 4 miles from Lulworth.
You will be surrounded by an abundance of wildlife with woods and grassland all around. Why not just laze the time away listening to the call of the birds singing. If you are lucky watch the deer grazing.
Many magnificent old ancestral homes, country houses, and gardens abound. The world famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a must for those interested in geology and magnificent scenery. Or perhaps just enjoy the peace and quiet at Warborrow Bay, and marvel at the deserted village of Tynham. One can sample the delights of Swanage, Dorchester and Weymouth or the thrill and excitment of visiting Monkey World, the Tank Museum and the Swanage Steam Railway.
For those all important provisions there are Supermarkets in Wareham and further a field Swanage and Poole with convenience stores in all villages Wool, Stoborough, Sandford and Carey.
