Downshay Farm in Dorset

Situated just down the road from Corfe Castle on a couple of sloping fields you get a great view of the castle from the site. The local steam train toots as it passes down the valley, the local station a 15 minute walk away.The farmer pops out after milking and keeps the 4 shower cubicles, toilets and wash basins spotless, the 4 washing up sinks are situated outside and a great meeting point for the grownups.There's a couple of football goals in the upper field that keeps some entertained and a tiny copse in the bottom where the litte ones meet up.Liked it the first year so we went back the second!
