Westland Farm is a small site,on a smallholding in North Devon, on the edge of Exmoor. The perfect place to get away from it all. There are plenty of local attractions nearby. The Station Inn at Blackmoor Gate is a family pub and restraunt and is just a short distance away. We also offer Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast and have a yurt for hire.

Reviews of Westland Farm

Just spent a wonderful 3 nights in the yurt. What a wonderful place! 6 of us (2 adults, 4 children aged between 1.5 & 9) slept very comfortably with plenty of room to spare. The kids loved playing in the stream and the nightly campfire. We all appreciated the remote location, the privacy and the extreme beauty of the site. Great rock-pooling in nearby Combe Martin and plenty of great days out on the door-step for everybody. The fully-equipped kitchen shed behind the yurt provides a dry place to store/cook food and a barbecue is also provided, though we stuck to eating out and saving the firewood for campfires. Anybody looking to stay here will have a fantastic time. Nicky, Andy and family are so very welcoming and extremely helpful. I would recommend bringing wellies and plenty of changes of clothes for kids, as they can't tear themselves away from the beautiful little shallow stream that runs through the field! I would also recommend bringing enough cash to last a few days as the local cash machines all charge. We loved it so much, we've already booked our next stay!

What a beautiful, quiet and tranquil place with a really friendly welcome. We truely enjoyed our stay with Nicky, Andy & family. Looking out at the lambs playing in the field, wandering around the Parrcombe Valley and right on the doorstep of Blackmoor Gate aswell. We found a delightful Restaurant nearby serving food all day which we took advantage of as we were just camping. A convenient location with a warm welcome we will definately be returning and may even book into the Yurt!
