Sandpiper Campsite is open for August and special occasions only, our prices for start at £15 per night for a tent and 2 adults with a car, children are charged at £2.00 per child per night (children under 4 are free). We accept tents and camper vans only.

The camp site is in a beautiful position, surrounded by National Trust Farmland, and is just a 10 minute walk to the sandy beach at South Milton, with its lovely views, rock pools and beach cafe. The South West Coastal Path runs at the side of the beach. The camping paddock has a panoramic view over farmlands to the sea and across to the Devon and Cornwall coastline.

We have a barn with a rustic indoor kitchen which includes a workbench which can be used to put camping stoves on in bad weather. There is also a fridge/freezer and washing-up area, there is a toaster, kettle & microwave along with plenty of communal seating, so if the weather is bad there is always somewhere dry to escape. The camp site has its own supply of natural spring water and other facilities include 2 hot showers and 3 loos, electrical sockets are available in the barn and we have the facilities for chemical waste disposal.

We are next door to a working farm, so you do get the odd tractor passing by, but apart from that the only thing you can hear is the sea.

Sandpiper Camp site sits half way between the pretty estuary town of Salcombe and popular Kingsbridge. The site is just a 10 minute walk from the sandy beach at South Milton (home to Thurlestone Rock), which has a fab beach cafe which turns into a little restaurant in the evenings serving fantastic seafood overlooking the sea!

If you need a venue for a wedding party or family get-together, Sandpiper Camp site is an ideal and unique venue. With a large rustic barn ideal for any party, it can be exclusively booked to give you complete control of the site.
