Palace Farm Camp site is a small traditional tent only camp site in the beautiful Kent Downs AONB. It is a quiet environmentally friendly camp site and is ideal for families, groups or anyone wanting a quiet getaway break. Camp fires are allowed in fire pits hired out by us and many families or groups cook all their food on them and then sit around and watch the setting sun with a glass of wine or two, some don't want to go home! Firewood can be bought by the bag from us and we do have a strict rule about not collecting wood around the camp site or in the local countryside. If you can drag yourselves away from the campfire there is a great pub only 5 minutes walk, The Chequers, a traditional award winning family butchers, Doughtys, and a small convenience store at the village Garage. There is also some wonderful countryside with dozens of great footpaths and miles of small country lanes ideal for cycling. (Ask us about maps)

Reviews of Palace Farm Camp Site
We stayed in one of the tipis and it was lovely. The owners are very friendly as are the chickens and goats!! Clean toilets, showers and washing up area. Being able to hire the fire pits and have an open fire was fantastic and felt like proper camping. The tipi also has a picnic bench with it which was very handy. Overall a peaceful and tranquil site.
Had a fantastic time here, a group of mums and kids. The field was great and very quiet. It was my son's (5) and friends first time camping and they already want to go again. The owners were great, very helpful and the toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. We had a fire pit which was great at night and we even cooked our sunday brunch on it. The local butcher was great and we loved the beef and lamb burgers. Shame we bought so much food, cos we could have bought plenty more food from the butcher as he also sold fresh fruit, fresh bread and so much more.
