Reviews of Camber Sands Holiday Park
Do not camp here, I have just arrived back home after a day from hell at this resort.
The food was awful and the staff were not in the least helpful.
When a storm moved in aal my tent pegs came loose, the tent pitches have only about five inches of very loose soil before you hit what feels like concrete, apparently the touring field is on top of the old pools so all you have to secure your tent is a feww inches of soil. I tried longer pegs however after 3-5 inches you hit what feels like concrete and your peg bend and break.
We tried eating in the fish and chip shop, the food took nearly an hour to get to us and was undercooked and unedible. The reception staff at the front gate were rude at the best and did not want kow why we cut our five day camping break down to just one.
Please take my advice if you are thinking of a camping trip avoid this place .
