ON THE SHORES OF THE MORAY FIRTH.
WALKING DISTANCE FROM CHANONRY POINT
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO VIEW THE
BOTTLE NOSE DOLPHINS.

Fortrose Bay Campsite is situated in an ideal location for touring the Scottish highlands. The site is located on the shores of the Black Isle, with stunning views overlooking the Moray Firth and the Kessoch Bridge which links the Black Isle to Inverness.

The campsite is a 10 minutes walk away from Chanonry Point, which is considered one of the best places in Europe to view bottlenose dolphins. If you like an active holiday, there is a golf course adjacent to the campsite, a tennis court 0.75m away and you can go horse riding 1m away.

Fortrose is a quaint village with several restaurants, pubs, take-aways and a good sized supermarket with long opening hours. There is regular public transport to Inverness.

Reviews of Fortrose Bay Campsite

We stayed for 3nights and must say dutch couple where so friendley and helpfull. Campsite is clean and the views are so breath takeing. The dolpins can be seen from the campsite at times, or take a 10min walk to the point. Will be back in 2012.

Facilities basic but clean. Only down side was the highway maintenace men using the toilets as a smoking area first thing in the morning, before they set off for work.
Disgusting smell.
