Bunchrew Caravan Park in Highlands

We have visited this site many times over the last 10 years or so. Facilities are not luxurious but totally adequate and we have never had any problems. Where the site makes up for this is in its superb location on the shores of the Moray firth, its where we had a sighting one evening of 3 ospreys swooping down into the firth and struggling to fly away with the enormous fish they had just caught! The campsite is not regimented at all which is lovely and the surrounding woodland and shoreline walks are a joy. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful and run a very well stocked shop, we wouldnt hesitate to recommend the site if you like nature and tranquility, yet with the bright lights of Inverness being only 3 miles away.
