Inverbervie is situated on the east coast of Scotland about 30 miles south of Aberdeen.
Its central location makes it the ideal base for exploring both Tayside and Royal Deeside.
Aberdeen to the North and Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh to the South are within easy driving distance.
The Royal Burgh of Inverbervie lies at the mouth of the River Bervie which offers excellent fishing for both Salmon and Trout
A short walk along the beach pathway will bring you to the fishing villages of Gourdon and, a little further on, Johnshaven.
10 Miles to the North is the town of Stonehaven with its picturesque harbour
Just before arriving in Stonehaven you may wish to visit Dunnotar Castle, an impressive ruined fortress dating back to the 12th Century which at one time was the hiding place for the Scottish Crown Jewels and more recently was used for the filming of Mel Gibson's Hamlet
