The Park is well laid out in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a number of hard-standing and grass pitches for touring caravans, motor homes, a secluded camping field for tents, onsite self catering Wigwams for hire, as well as an exclusive holiday home and lodge development. Set within nine acres, the outlying fields provide habitats for a rich variety of animals, birds, flora and fauna.
A quiet and serene place, set within a slight hollow leading down to the spectacular Devil’s Bridge and the picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. The town is steeped in history with a 13th century charter for fairs, a school dating back to Elizabeth I, it even warrants a mention in the Domesday Book of 1086.
It is not hard to see why this landscape has inspired famous writers and artists with its cluster of speciality shops, 17th and 18th century Inns, a fine Norman Church as well as the famous Devil’s Bridge.
