Fell End Caravan Park is an award-winning park, a woodland oasis of peace and tranquillity located in the Arnside and Silverdale 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' in the Southern Lake District. It's the ideal base for visiting the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Morecambe Bay.

Twenty eight acres of meadow and woodland have been transformed at Fell End Caravan Park by landscaping with natural limestone, tree planting and the addition of flowering shrubs and bulbs to make Fell End into an ideal garden setting.

Fell End is ideally situated for a short break or an extended holiday. The local area offers numerous activities such as horse riding, golf, fishing and fell walking, and is surrounded by villages with a variety of restaurants and cafes. The market town of Kendal, with its range of smart shopping malls and cobbled streets filled with speciality outlets, is just 20 minutes away.

The quiet coastal areas of Arnside and Silverdale are right on the doorstep in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' that include the nationally acclaimed RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss. You can be in Windermere and the Lake District within twenty minutes, and the Yorkshire Dales are pretty much on your doorstep.

Reviews of Fell End Caravan Park

Could be a good site if there was thought to the customer. Pitches allocated from an offsite office who clearly have no idea of the site and allocate complete unsuitable pitches. 80% of pitches unsuitable for large vans with absolute chaos at booking in periods with the reception just telling people to find a pitch wherever you can. It was also quite disturbing on the lack of supervision the young staff have and they seam to be having more fun than customers and treating the clubhouse as there own private pub with their friends... This could be a fantastic site if the owner did not treat the guests as just pound signs, make clear spaces for pitches and get the respect and organisation into how this site should be run..
My new tourer was put on Fell End from the day we bought it in late October. When we booked the pitch I requested a large enough one to fit a 27 foot van. When I arrived they had given my pitch to someone else and I was made to do with a tiny pitch.
Was recently on the site during the spell of cold weather, none of the water collection pipes worked, lighting was poor and the ground treacherous with no effort to grit or do anything to sort it.
The young staff on the whole are great and very accommodating as are the new manager and his wife the odd older member of staff are somewhat funny and awkward.
would I go back? If the prices were more reasonable and more money spent on the basic facilities yes but until then no chance.
I think its a case of the owner charging as much as possible and putting little back in.
