Reviews of Innarla Caravan & Camping Park
we took a ride out to take a look around the above caravan pk,we thought it would be nice as we live closeby to maybe take our touring caravan there.so we drove around on our way out we were stopped by this arrogant man.....asking what we wanted,we told him we were just looking[as you do around all caravan parks]we got alot of verbal abuse from him insisting we should have seeked his permission.........there were no signs requesting this.clearly he was upset that we had seen what a dirty untidy dump it was.pls dont waste your time visting this site it was truly disgusting.
Summary : Website is a fiction, very overpriced.
The site is a nice, flat camping field with good access, but that is really the only positive thing we can say.
We were very, very disappointed with the facilities compared to what we were expecting. The website promises a kitchen, tearooms, laundry room, spring pool etc. None of those facilities exist. Instead, there is a single "unisex" portacabin toilet block, with 2 cubicles, and 2 exposed urinals. There is a sign saying that for privacy (because of the senselessly located urinals) everyone should lock the main door to the cabin when using it. This effectively means that only one person can go to the loo at a time, and the site is too big for just one toilet. The block was well used and not all that clean, though the toilets themselves were generally kept clean. But loo roll holders were broken / not working, and there seemed to be little in the way of "care".
There was one rather unsavoury looking shower for £1 for 6 minutes.
All in all, the facilities were rather inadequate and unkempt for a site costing £17.50 per night, and we will certainly not be staying there again.
On top of everything, the owner's dogs are allowed to roam free on the site - which I wouldn't mind - I like dogs - except that we found that one of them had wandered in our tent while we were out, and messed under our dining table! Sort of added insult to injury.
