For 2013 we’re offering three boutique Bell-tents to rent, all large 5 metres in size and each able to accommodate two to four people. Each tent is equipped with a comfy double bed, the mattress are made from memory foam for extra luxury, comfort and warmth. The Bell Tents are equipped with cooking equipment, there is a double burner and a firepit with picnic table to sit around all topped with delightful views over the Waveney Valley.
We’re getting loads of enquiries and now we’re officially ‘cool’ (we're proud to be included in the latest edition of the Cool Camping Guide!) we anticipate even more so do book early! We are now officially one of the Top Ten campsites in the UK - See here!

Bring your tent and enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings of Swattesfield Campsite.

Pre-pitched tents are an easier option. Leave it to us to provide and pitch your tent. Reasonably priced and able to cater for most campers - booking is required for this.

Swattesfield Campsite is a delightfully natural camp site for tents and compact campervans. Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, it's a tranquil site that allows open fires in supplied fire-pits and is within walking distance to The Four Horseshoes pub, The Forge cafe and the Coach House Restaurant.

Swattesfield Campsite is wonderful for walking as it has direct access to 12 miles of waymarked Thornham Walks, which is an ancient parkland, woodland and farm.
Set in seven acres, the camp site has a toilet block housing separate his and hers toilets, each with a hot running shower and three modern sinks.

We are a low-impact and sustainable campsite and encourage recycling and the conservation of resources which all helps to develop an ecologically sound campsite and reduces waste.

Being a countryside campsite you may spot some of the diverse wildlife already seen such as: Muntjac deer, heron's, woodpeckers, kingfishers, bats and owls and plenty of other bird varieties.
