Mill House Caravan Park in Essex

We are a small family run touring site set in open countryside in the beautiful Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation conservation area offering a quiet and peaceful holiday experience in a delightful setting.

Surrounded by open farmland the two acres of level grass land are enhanced by rows of cricket bat willow trees that give the site a unique character, hedges and a small stream mark the boundaries of the site providing seclusion for our guests and a haven for the local wildlife.

Access to the footpath network and the River Chelmer is opposite the site entrance offering many miles of delightful and interesting walks including 13 miles of towpath passing locks, mill pools and marinas. Day ticket fishing is available on the river and guests are welcome to fish the small stream next to the site for free.

We do not have shower or toilet facilities on site so all visitors must have their own sanitation but we do have 16 amp electric hook-ups for all our 20 licensed pitches, three drinking water taps, a chemical toilet waste disposal point, rubbish and re-cycling bins.
